Terms of use

About NearFiber

NearFiber is an independent internet comparison service. We are not an internet provider, and no provider owns us. By using nearfiber.com, you agree to these terms.

What you can use NearFiber for

You can use NearFiber to check which internet providers serve your area, compare plans and prices, and go to a provider to order. The site is for personal use. Don't misuse it, for example by scraping it or entering someone else's information.

Prices, availability and savings

Plans, prices, offers and availability come from providers' public information and the FCC's national broadband map. They can change at any time, depend on your address and may not include taxes and fees. We don't guarantee that a plan or price is available at your address. Results for a ZIP code show what providers report around the center of that ZIP code, and service can differ from street to street. The "best price" is the lowest advertised starting price for the speed you choose, as explained in our advertiser disclosure. Savings we show are estimates based on the bill you tell us and the provider's starting price.

Ordering

When you click a provider's button, you leave NearFiber and go to the provider or one of its authorized sales partners. Your order, service, billing, installation and cancellation are between you and the provider, under the provider's own terms. If you ask us to text you an order link or a deal, we never place an order without your yes.

Rankings and commissions

Our "#1 for fiber" picks are our opinion. We may earn a commission when you order through links or requests on NearFiber, and providers that pay us may be featured more prominently. Our commission is never added to your bill. See our advertiser disclosure.

The chat assistant

The NearFiber Assistant gives general information with pre-written answers. It doesn't know your account. Confirm prices, terms and availability with the provider.

Calls, texts and emails

If you give consent on our forms, you agree that we may call and text you about your request as described there. Consent isn't required to buy. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. If you sign up for alerts, you can unsubscribe from any email.
